Jamieson Gill

Jamieson Gill has worked with information systems for more than 25 years. He is a business and computer systems professional with experience across many industries.

Mr. Gill has extensive experience in small business operations in multiple industries and verticals. He believes the business information system is a critical part of a successful business, and he works with companies that want to use technology as a differentiator and a strategic advantage in their market.

Education

Mr. Gill holds a BS in Management Information Systems from the College of Business (now the Saunders College of Business) at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York.

His studies and experience include accounting, production management, organizational behavior, general management, marketing, systems analysis and design, programming, computer and communications technology, finance, network applications development, project management, and leadership and team development, along with the fundamental organizational and technical principles of running a business.

Selected accomplishments

• Produced an e-commerce application for real-time sales of market research. Credit card processing fed an Adobe PDF Merchant digital rights management system that delivered decryption keys on the fly for locked PDF documents.
• Member of Mensa.
• Completed 23 credit hours (10 classes in 10 weeks) at RIT two semesters before graduation.
• Built team development and leadership skills through organized team sports (soccer, lacrosse, hockey, baseball and volleyball), including making the RIT soccer team as a walk-on.
• Officiated and supervised intramural soccer at RIT, including all intramural soccer championships, for deaf and hearing teams and Greek society intramurals.
• Member of the Tau Epsilon Phi fraternity.
