Managed services are a set of separate services that together form one package, delivering reliable and stable systems for a fixed monthly fee.
What is included
Budgeting and planning
We work with your budget and business needs to build a cost-effective technology plan. Upgrades and changes are planned and budgeted in advance.
Preventive maintenance
Our planning meetings identify machines nearing the end of their lifecycle, and we replace them on a schedule. You get a faster machine with no interruption, instead of a failure at the worst possible moment.
System monitoring and maintenance
We monitor disk capacity, memory, CPU and network usage, and antivirus status, often catching problems before users notice. We also handle moves, adds and changes, and manage warranty repairs on covered equipment.
Network monitoring and management
We watch your network for unexpected downtime and fix what we find. We manage DHCP, routers and firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, network antivirus, and network testing and diagnostics.
Vendor management
We act as your liaison with your technology vendors, so you have experienced people on your side. See vendor management.
IT governance and compliance
We work with your management and legal advisors to keep your systems compliant with the regulatory and oversight agencies that apply to you.
Software asset management

Backup and disaster recovery
Together we set your recovery point objective (how much data you can afford to lose) and recovery time objective (how quickly you must be running again). Once those are costed and agreed, we implement, monitor and maintain a backup solution that meets them.
Managed print services
For one monthly fee plus consumables, we keep your printers working, maintained and under warranty. We can also help you choose and set up a printer or printing system.
