An example

Picture thousands of Raspberry Pi devices, each configured automatically to perform one specific task. The devices connect to the cloud as Internet of Things (IoT) devices, report the data they collect, and can receive commands back from the cloud.

A project like this draws on solution architecture, cloud solutions, systems integration and software development at the same time.
